Authors

Root Checker will ensure you that root rights are installed on your smartphone. The program supports almost all Android versions starting from Android 2.2.

Important details: Root Checker program wasn't designed for gaining extended rights. If you need to install root, use an app from the list.

How to check if there is root access:

  1. Download Root checker from Play Market;
  2. Install the app on your phone;
  3. Click “Verify Root Access” button.

After completion of device status analysis, the app will show you information on whether root rights are installed or not. If they weren't installed right, a list of comments will appear.

Another important feature of this app is installation of BusyBox and UNIX utilities used for setting up interface. Some system tools, including one click root apps don't work without BusyBox.

After Root checker installation, you will see on your smartphone desktop a widget with information on all available tools, as well as data on superuser rights of the current device.

A lot of options are available absolutely for free. Root Checker Pro version of this app will be suitable for advanced users; what differs is that it provides full information on root access and recommendations for fixing errors which appeared after rooting.
